A Spa Day Isn’t Complete Without a Beverage and Some Snacks 🥃🥗

BEVERAGES

Cucumber Mint Cooler:

  • 1 cucumber, peeled and sliced
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (optional)
  • Sparkling water
  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

  • In a pitcher, muddle the cucumber slices & mint leaves together.
  • Add honey or agave syrup if you prefer a sweeter taste.
  • Fill the pitcher with sparkling water & stir gently.
  • Serve over ice cubes & garnish with cucumber slices & mint leaves.

Health Benefits:

Cucumber is hydrating, contains vitamins and minerals, and aids in digestion. Mint helps with digestion, reduces inflammation, and has a calming effect on the body. Sparkling water keeps you hydrated and can be a good alternative to sugary sodas.

  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 lime, thinly sliced
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Water
  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

  • Combine the lemon, lime, and orange slices in a pitcher.
  • Add fresh basil leaves for a unique twist.
  • Fill the pitcher with water and let it infuse for at least an hour in the refrigerator.
  • Serve chilled over ice cubes.

  • 2 green tea bags

  • 1 qt. Hibiscus Flowers, dried
  • 12 qt. Water
  • 4 ea. Cardamom Pods
  • 2 tsp. Pink Peppercorns, whole
  • 1 tsp. Coriander, whole
  • 1 stp. Fenndel Seed, whole
  • ½ ea. Cinnamon Stick
  • 5 ea. Cloves
  • Golf ball sized Ginger (peeled)
  • 1½ c. Yuzu Juice
  • 2 c. Mirin
  • 24 oz. Pomegranate Juice
  • TT Salt

Instructions:

  • Place all aromatics and hibiscus flower into a 22 quart cambo.
  • Heat the water until boiling and pour over the aromatics.
  • Let the tea steep in the cooler overnight.
  • The next day, flavor with the yuzu, mirin, pomegranate juice and salt.
  • Be sure to strain the elixir before serving.

Good alternative to a morning cup of coffee, the sour-flavored flower (it tastes similar to a grapefruit) aids in cardiovascular health, contains a high amount of vitamin C and leaves skin looking refreshed.

 

The Jade:

  • 3 cucumber slices
  • 1/4 celery stem
  • 3 oz. orange juice
  • lime juice
  • natural honey

Instructions:

  • Blend in a blender until mixed.

Cut out the caffeine with this vitamin C–packed Jade drink. This elevated take on your standard O.J. packs in a punch of green for extra hydration while honey helps give a sustained boost of energy.

 

Spa Day Cocktail:

  • 2 ounces Vodka
  • ¾ ounce Fresh Lemon Juice
  • ¾ ounce Mint Syrup (1 cup fresh mint leaves, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water made into a simple syrup)
  • add Mint Leaf (for garnish)

 

Instructions:

  • Combine the vodka, lemon juice, and syrup in a cocktail shaker.
  • Fill 3/4 of the shaker with ice.
  • Shake until chilled, about 30 seconds.
  • Strain the drink into a couple glass and garnish with a mint leaf.

Rosewater Honey Spa Refresher:

  • 2 teaspoons Rosewater
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Honey (locally sourced if possible)
  • 2 teaspoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 ½ cups Water
  • ½ cups Ice Cubes

 

Instructions:

  • In a medium jar, add rosewater, honey and lemon and mix everything together using a spatula, for about 1 minute.
  • Add water and ice-cubes and mix to combine.
  • Pour into glasses and serve chilled.

Health Benefits:

Rose water has been suggested to have hypnotic, analgesic, anticonvulsant, respiratory, cardiovascular, laxative, anti-diabetic, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties.

Spa Party Mint Orange Blossom Iced Tea:

  • 20 cups water
  • 1 bunch Fresh mint leaves - about 1 cup
  • 1 cup sugar - or use Swerve or Splenda
  • 1 large navel orange
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons orange blossom water OR you use orange extract instead of orange blossom (decrease the amount to 1-2 teaspoons)
  • Optional Orange Slices and Mint Leaves - for garnish

Instructions:

  • Place water and mint in a 6-qt. slow cooker. Cover and cook on high until heated through, about 6 hours. Strain tea; discard mint.
  • Whisk in sugar or sweetener until dissolved. Cut orange crosswise in half; squeeze juice from orange. Stir in juice and orange blossom water. Transfer to a pitcher.
  • Refrigerate until cold, 4-6 hours. Serve over ice with orange slices and additional mint, if desired.

  • 2 ounces brewed tea (unsweetened)

 

Instructions:
